July Favorites

Here are some of my favorite beauty and fashion favorites, these posts will probably also include random things like tv shows or music.

1. I've been trying so many BB Creams lately for the summer time, and found the perfect one after my friend recommended it to me. It gives the perfect coverage and is great for oily and sensitive skin.

NYX - Ulta
2. This eyeliner is definitely my favorite because it is waterproof and lasts the whole day.  It has such an easy application and glides on so smoothly. The formula does not contain a lot of harmful chemicals so that is a pro.

Tarte "Golden Tiger's Eye" - Sephora
3. One of my all time fashion favorites this summer has been the "balloon" pants or whatever it is you want to call them. They are so comfortable and one of the few things I will wear a bold print in. I have found some great ones at Nordstrom but just recently found another pair at American Eagle.

4. Unfortunately I had to start my summer homework recently, but thankfully I had a really good summer reading book to read. Normally I hate being told what to read by school, but this book was so good I couldn't put it down. It's definitely a harder and harsher read but very good.

Barnes and Noble
5. I finally finished The Office which I had been watching for a long time on Netflix. It was so sad to end the show but one of the best tv series I have seen.

Thanks for reading, hope some of you guys try out my favorites! If you have any comments or suggestions don't be afraid to comment down below.  :)

Summer Lookbook

Hey guys! I know summer consists of so many different opportunities and occasions so I put together a few different outfits I have or would have worn this summer. Hope you like them, and if you do go ahead and comment down below or comment any suggestions, that would be much appreciated!

1. Comfortable Travel Outfit
T-shirt - windsor
When I'm travelling I like to keep it really simple. I normally always just wear basic black leggings, mine are from Victoria Secret, and I will pair it with a casual longer t-shirt, tank top, or sweater depending on the weather. I absolutely love the t-shirt shown above, but I've also worn the New York racer back tank top that I recently purchased and showed on my blog from Brandy Melville. It's almost always cold on airplanes so I like to wear boots, mine are from Steve Madden. If I'm going someplace warm then I pack a pair of flip-flops to change into after my flight.

2. Concert Nights
Crop top - Windsor, Shorts - Windsor, Necklace - Windsor, Shoes - Forever 21
This is a fun outfit to wear out to concerts, maybe not particularly country concerts. The closed-toe shoes will help protect your feet from potentionally getting stepped on. I'm also in love with this simple yet statement necklace that can practically match any outfit.

3. Beach Days
Bikini - Victoria's Secret, tote bag - Lilly Pulitzer, flip-flops - Havaianas
I love how the ruffle top look was incorporated into this season's bikinis with more detailing like the lattice back of this particular one. When I think about summer I think of Lilly Pulitzer. They have great summer paterns so of course I use one of their tote bags as my beach bag. Havaiana flip-flops are truly a comfortable flip-flop.

4. Night on the Town
Shirt - Windsor, Pants - Tillys, bag - Rebeca Minkoff, shoes - Tillys
I love dressing up a little bit when I go out to dinner with a group of friends. This is the perfect mix of casual and dressy.  The flowy tube top is fun when paired with high-waisted pants.  I love this bag because it can be converted into a crossbody bag or worn as a shoulder bag. These shows have been quite popular lately, but these have a different edge to them because of the snakeskin pattern.

Hope you like the outfits and if you do go ahead and comment down below, or comment any suggestions you may have for me, it would be much appreciated!

Underated Products

So I've discovered some products that are amazing, but no one really talks about them. I always see the same products raved about, so here are some of my favorites that aren't too expensive.

1. covergirl trublend foundation provides a nice even coverage that isn't too thick. I've been using this since it first came out. This foundation is also really good for oily skin. You can find this product at most beauty supply stores. I buy mine at either Target or Ulta.

2. Too Faced "Better Than Sex" mascara. This mascara gives great volume and length and hardly clumps. I used to use a mascara primer before putting on my mascara, but with this one the primer isn't needed.

Sephora
3. Too Faced Natural at Night eyeshadow collection. It has the perfect variety of neutrals, and the shadow does not crease over time.

California Haul

Okay guys here is the haul I promised in my last post. I am so happy with my purchases, they all fit perfectly.  It was my first time going to a Brandy Melville store, and the one in Santa Monica was so nice. My friend had recently bought me a "I heart NYC" sign from there, so I decided to add to my Brandy sign collection with the "Stay Classy" sign.  I really needed a light wash jean short and was so happy when I found a affordable pair at PacSun. Hope you guys like this haul!

Everything shown above I bought at Brandy Melville. I love how this black shirt has "angel sleeves", they flare out so nicely at the end.

This white crop top is from Pacsun. The ring on the left is from Marc Jacobs, and the necklace and ring on the right are both from Brandy Melville.

The long-sleeve night shirt, the sweatshirt, and sweatpants above are all from Victoria's Secret. The semi-annual sale had just started when I went so I got a great deal on these clothing items.

The halter top and low-rise shorts are both from PacSun.

These Steve Madden sandals I found at Nordstrom were on sale for such a great deal of just $30.

I have been looking for a romper since the start of summer and finally found a good-fitting one at Abercrombie at the Grove shopping center L.A.

California Adventures

So my first trip of this summer was to California. I had to visit some family outside of LA. California was great, the food and shopping was awesome.  It's unlike any place I've ever visited before. The shops and food (Jamba Juice) they have out there are so different from what I have at home so it was a great change.

To start off the trip I met a NBA player at LAX who was also flying on the same plane as I was. I absolutely love watching basketball so it was great meeting him, even though he was clearly so much taller than me.

While I was visiting my family I quickly went to the local Sprinkles cupcake shop. Their cupcakes were probably some of the best I have ever had. I personally got the peanut butter cup, vanilla & milk chocolate, and red velvet. My great aunt also took me to her country club which was a nice experience.

My mom took me to Rodeo Drive to show me all of the shops, but everything started closing by the time we got there. Rodeo was beautifully kept and the shops of course were great. I got to eat at the original Cheesecake Factory which is my favorite restaurant.
My outfit shown above: Top - PacSun, Pants - Nordstrom, Purse - Francescas

My favorite place I visited while in California was definitely Santa Monica. I loved the beachy feel that it gave off as well as being classy. I spent the whole day shopping at the 3rd Street Promenade, so I wasn't able to go on the pier or beach unfortunately.

Before going to Rodeo we stopped by Melrose.  I went to the DASH store and Marc Jacobs.  Thought the storefronts above were gorgeous so I snapped some pics. Wish I could actually go into MQueen and buy something.

As a Keeping up with the Kardashians fan I of course drove past Kim's old house. It looked a little different and smaller than the show made it out to be.

I also went to the Grove shopping center in LA. I didn't like it as much as the other shopping areas I went to but it was still very nice. I forgot to take pictures while I was there, and I also forgot to take pictures at my new favorite restaurant, Umami Burger. They have the best burgers I've ever had, it was great. As soon as I get everything I bought in California in the mail I will post a little haul for you guys. :)
Thanks for reading!

4. My favorite song this past month has been Save the Night by John Legend.

5. Another fashion favorite would be this tunic from the Kendall&Kylie exclusive PacSun collection. It was perfect for the spring season.
